To qualify, training must meet the following standards:
Training can be done online, on-site or in the classroom, and can be done on at part-time or full-time basis.
When you're dealing with a million moving pieces, your experience will usually be the difference between moving forward and spinning your wheels. At HAZ-MATTERS we're continually staying up-to-date on regulations both provincially and federally so that we can act as a resource to you 24/7.
The Canada Job Grant offers funding toward the cost of training provided by eligible third-party trainers. The total cost of training will be shared between the Government of Canada and employers.
The Government of Canada provides two-thirds (66%) of the cost of training, up to a maximum of $10,000 for each employee per grant. Employers will be required to contribute the remaining one-third of the training costs.
Applications are accepted from employers only. If you are an individual, you must ask your employer to apply for the grant. Applications must be submitted 30 days prior to the training start date.
