He has spent the past 20 years as a recognized Subject Matter Expert & Hazmat Specialist throughout Canada & is acknowledged for his well defined understanding of the business-technology interface & his capability to identify & align clients’ needs with solutions & services.
Bart has a successful & diverse background spanning extensive field work, technical & operational management, delivery, project management, & business-development disciplines which underscore his expertise in engaging decision makers & devising winning sales strategies & solutions. Bart is a certified Canadian Environmental Professional (EP) & served as the Vice Chair for the Canadian Environmental Certifications Approvals Board, CECAB. His experience has specifically involved the hands-on management of over 15,000 waste characterizations and identifications throughout Canada and the U.S. To date, Bart has formally trained HAZWOPER and HAZCHEM courses in person to over 3,000 professionals internationally. Participants have included members of industry, government, police agencies, fire departments, universities, & First Nations communities. Bart appears as a guest speaker on frequent occasions & is a member and past member of the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA), the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE), the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), & served on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Environmental Industry & Managers Association (SEIMA).
